The Walk to Remember was created by young Rwandans as a way to stand against genocide. Today, hundreds of thousands of Rwandans and friends around the world walk together to remember the victims of the genocide and support survivors.
Imagine everyone in the world joining together in a global Walk to Remember. You can help make this happen by organising one in your community.
Ideas on how to organise your Walk to Remember and materials about the meaning of the event – remembering the past and exploring ways of building a more peaceful future – are available on our Resources page.
